M:The fifth grade students at an elementary school welcomed a new student.However.he was unlike oth-er newcomers. He was not shy and seemed to immediately recognize all 119 kids by their names. The experiment is to test if robots can gradually learm to naturally deal with a group of people.
Compared to other students,the robot has an unfair advantage. His daily conversation level has been limit-ed to that of a five-year-old,but he was preprogrammed with the facial photos and voicepnints of all 119 ffthgraders and teachers. He was also preprogranmed with the contents of the entire fifth grade science textbook.
As a result, he impressed the class by answering every question correctly.
The robot can answer the teacher's questions cormectly.but that's not all. He not only gets along well withhis classmates.but after class he also likes shaking hands with the sixth graders.
